Manaka Property Investments (Pty) Ltd is a fast growing, black owned and controlled property investment company that also facilitates the development and redevelopment of quality properties throughout South Africa. Manaka focuses on commercial, retail and industrial properties. From humble beginnings, Manaka was established in 2007 to contribute towards changing the economic landscape of our country and the African continent.

Manaka means the "Horns of the Bull" (the bull being symbolic of wealth in Africa) and represents our philosophy of creating wealth through sustainable property investment with integrity. Since then, the company's property portfolio has grown steadily and is engaged in numerous transactions with key properties located in busy, central city areas. Manaka's Directors provide a broad range of knowledge and expertise, having a combined experience within private sector, government and community organizations.

Manaka's first property acquisition was the Continental Building in Pretoria in 2007. Thereafter the Absa Building in Francis Baard Street and the iconic Hallmark Building in Madiba Street were acquired. Some of the properties were disposed of in 2013 during the time restructuring and consolidation process.

Manaka has over the years managed to negotiate property acquisition of in excess of a billion Rand (R1 000 000 000), garnering phenomenal growth. Manaka continued to invest and acquire properties within the Gauteng Region. Our geographic spread extended to Cape Town when we acquired the Alexander Forbes building at 14 Long Street. Our partnership with other companies extends from Limpopo, Gauteng and Western Cape and we continue to explore opportunities in the rest of the country. Manaka's focus is acquisition but has a keen eye for redevelopments especially in the CBDs across the country. Manaka currently owns several prime buildings mostly within Gauteng and is on the acquisition trail for new projects and additional properties in the country and the continent.
